Watch: Springboks, Ramaphosa wish Bafana luck for Afcon quarterfinal

Bafana Bafana are taking on Cape Verde in Côte d’Ivoire at 22:00 tonight.

Siya Kolisi and the World Cup-winning Springboks sent a good luck message to Bafana Bafana for the Afcon quarterfinal against Cape Verde on Saturday.

The South African Football Association wrote on its website that coach Hugo Broos is well aware that both teams will be full of confidence after making it this far in the tournament, but he is also very wary of what the team rivals can offer when the stakes are so high.

“Cape Verde, we do not underestimate them, we have seen how well they play. They have discipline, they are very well organized, so we know what we are up against. They cannot be underestimated, even if we come off of a win against Africa’s best,” he said.

In the meantime, President Cyril Ramaphosa has also wished the team well and said the whole nation will be rooting for them.
