WATCH: Train carrying coal catches fire in Ladysmith

It is believed the train was on its way to Durban when the driver noticed and smelled smoke in one of the carriages.

No injuries were reported after a train caught alight last night behind the Animal Anti-Cruelty League premises, Ladysmith, in KwaZulu-Natal, reports the Ladysmith Gazette.

The train was carrying coal.

The fire was limited to the one carriage.

The cause of the fire is still unknown at this stage.
