From humble beginnings in Boland to becoming a household name in SA rugby, Cornal Hendricks’ on and off field journey is a source of inspiration.
The 12-Test Springbok winger passed away on Wednesday from a heart attack at the age of 37.

Diagnosed with a heart condition in 2016, Hendricks’ professional career was over until the Vodacom Bulls threw the former Blitzboks and Cheetahs star a lifeline in 2019.
Beyond his exploits between the whitelines, Hendricks will be remembered for his social impact through the Cornal Hendricks Foundation.
