Afro-fusion star Bhudaza makes a triumphant return to The Carousel Casino & Entertainment World’s Cheyenne Saloon on 25 and 26 October. Influenced by the hymns and rhythms of his choral upbringing, this Sama-winning star brings a totally unique jazzy sound to life.
He has released three albums with Universal Music, starting with Bo-Mapefane in 2003, Mohokare in 2006 and Likhomo in 2010. In March 2010, the latter saw Bhudaza scoop an MTN South African Music award in the category best adult contemporary album: African. Likhomo is a true celebration of years of work for Bhudaza and a perfect blend of different worlds – conceptualized in the beautiful mountains of Lesotho, yet recorded in South Africa. A firm believer in the role of the musician in social issues, Bhudaza is working with SOS, an international aid organisation, to put on a concert and help build homes for children in Lesotho.
