Concert welcomes festive season
The annual 'A night under the Stars' carols by candlelight welcomed the festive season on Thursday despite the stormy weather.
The Centurion Lifestyle Mall’s Carols by Candlelight, in association with Rekord and Groot FM 90.5, was held this week despite the threatening thunder clouds.
The melodic voices of Elvis Blue, Loyiso Bala, Laurika Rauch and Andriette Norman filled the air as Pretorians celebrated the arrival of the festive season.
This is the time of the year for giving, and two charity organisations, the Tshwane SPCA in Centurion and Husky Rescue, benefited from this event. Guests were asked to bring canned or dry dog and cat food as an entrance fee.
The concert was free and non-perishable food, clothes and toys will be donated towards The Hanna Charity and Empowerment Foundation.
