Artist makes a difference
Artist and business woman, Sussie Wie is looking for talent in the community to develop singers.
Inspiring youngsters to reach their dreams and making it come true, singer Sussie Wie is giving the community a chance to reach their dreams.
“I am looking for talent that I can develop. There are so many people out there that love to sing but do not have the money or resources and I am now offering that to them,” Wie said.
She hosts Idols every Sundays at the Country Mountain Pub to scout for talent in the community.
“We choose one winner every week. They get the chance to record one of the songs they sang during the competitions for themselves to keep or if ever I can decide to sign them up,” Wie added.
Since the beginning of the Idols competition about two weeks back, she has signed two artists under her record label, Eargasm Studio. Contenders are allowed to sing any song they like even the songs they may have written themselves.
“I have a passion for music and I just want to share it with the community. I am giving people the first step to their dreams.”
Wie is a song writer, musician, owns a studio and does a lot of other things. She has won the MKD89 awards, was nominated for the Samas and most local stations play their songs.
“She started singing when she was 23-years-old and started as a sound engineer. I still perform and my next album will be coming out soon,” she said.
People from all over are invited to come sing, record a song and stand a chance to win a recording deal under Wie’s label.
The Idols competition takes place at the Country Mountain Pub, 517 Karel Trichardt in Mountain View at 14:00 every Sunday. For information phone Sussie Wie on 073-024-3593.
