New acoustic music video for Pierre Nel

Pierre said that the acoustic version will especially resonate with those who challenge the norm and want to bring adventure into their relationships.

A brand new version of Pierre Nel’s latest single “Collide” has just been released and this acoustic version embodies the heart behind the song.

In this electro pop song released late last year, Pierre surprised fans with the deep meaning behind the lyrics of the song.

“This song is very close to my heart and I am so thankful for how listeners received the first version of it,” Nel explained.

“I wanted to do something special this time and capture the raw emotion I heard the first time when I completed writing this song.”

He added that the acoustic version will especially resonate with those challenging the norm and want to bring adventure into their relationships.

“Collide” was written by Nel who wants to use his songs to tell stories and inspire people.

He says it is an expression of himself and has lead from previous experiences.

“Although the couple in my songs keeps challenging each other, they find intimacy in their challenges and arguments and craves the heated flames burning brightly for one another,” Nel explained.

“Collide” does not support or suggest any practices relating to domestic violence.

“The music video is a live performance by myself – I wanted to focus on the story of the song and tried to keep it honest and real,” Nel shared.

Nel is a well-known Afrikaans singer that has experimented with a much more passionate and aggressive tone in “Collide”.

With the outbreak of Covid-19 in South Africa, he also released a song “If You Get Corona” where he emphasized the fact that the future and survival of mankind now rests on everyone’s shoulders.

The 27-year-old Nel is a qualified doctor that released his first single “Al Waarvoor Ek Leef” in 2017. His dream is to have a successful music career while pursuing his medical career in Ophthalmology.
