The Johannesburg municipality is calling on organisations to partner with the city to assist with skills development and employment programmes.

Driven by the Department of Economic Development, the partnerships will bolster the SMME sector’s training and sustainability objectives.

The city has identified 32 core opportunities across 11 economic sectors where interested organisations could best assist with economic growth.

Participating organisations will provide relevant training, job placements, access to markets and enter into supply and purchasing agreements with the city.

Organisations chosen to partner with the city will enter into fixed agreements lasting for a period of three years.
