Ashton students triumph on global stage
Six Ashton students, amid stiff competition, were recognised for their exceptional achievements in the Cambridge International Education examinations.
Ashton International College Ballito has once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence by emerging triumphant at the 2023 Cambridge International Education Outstanding Learner Awards South Africa ceremony in Johannesburg last Thursday.
This global recognition was achieved with six Ashton students, amid stiff competition, being recognised for their exceptional achievements in the Cambridge International Education examinations.
The top performers were:
Owen Goodfellow: He secured the title of Top in South Africa for his AS level in business, showcasing his exemplary understanding of business principles.
Raashmi Ramrackan: Her dedication to excellence in accounting not only earned her the prestigious title of Top in South Africa, but she reached second place in the world for IGCSE Accounting.
Ethan Naidoo: Ethan’s mastery of mathematics has been recognised with the title of Top in South Africa for IGCSE Mathematics without coursework.
Yashin Arjoon: Yashin’s exceptional performance in IGCSE Physical Science also earned him the title of Top in South Africa, while finishing an impressive 3rd in the world, highlighting his exemplary scientific knowledge and skills.
Ellen Paul: Her all-round academic brilliance shone through as she clinched the titles of Top in South Africa for AS level business and second in the world, as well as Top in South Africa and fifth in the world for A level geography.
Kyle Neethling: Kyle’s dedication and hard work have been rewarded with a high achievement in A level accounting, reflecting his commitment to academic excellence and proficiency in the subject matter.
These outstanding achievements not only reflect the dedication and hard work of Ashton’s students but also underscore the exceptional standard of education provided at Ashton International College Ballito.
