Umhlali Preparatory Schools U13A boys hockey, girls hockey, tennis and chess teams took part in the Ilembe district top schools championship organised by the departments of education and sports and recreation.

The hockey and tennis tournament was held on August 24 and Umhlali Preparatory was victorious in all sporting codes. The teams will now take part in the provincial tournament which will be held

from September 20 to September 25. If the teams are victorious in the provincial tournament

they will then take part in the National Week in Bloemfontein during the December holidays.

The school would like to congratulate all its teams on this achievement.
