TonyKart boys ready to ‘rok’ in Vereeniging
The TonyKart boys dominated the third round of the 2013 Engen Supakart National held at Idube in KZN in July, winning seven of the nine heats in the three Rok categories.
Now, they will be challenging for overall national honours in the fourth and final round of the Engen Supakarts ROK national. Three of the national championship titles are still wide open.
Ashton International College’s Benjamin Habig is holding the third position in this hotly contested Super Rok class. Habig (15) is one of the youngest drivers in this class, this being his first year competing against the seniors.
“I have gained a bit of experience this year taking some lessons from the older competitors, and would love to finish third on the 2013 Championship, but I know I can expect a charge from Chassen Bright (Zanardi) who is in fourth at the moment,” said Habig.
Keagan Masters in his No 3 TonyKart controlled the junior Rok class at Idube. In second place is Bradley Liebenberg, who has a healthy buffer to third placed Clinton Bezuidenhout. Also in Tonykart colours will be Luke Hill.
