Mud, sweat and fun!

The Ballito Lions popular amazing race was a huge hit.

Competitors got their hands dirty at the Ballito Lions’ annual Warrior Challenge last Sunday.
Army boot camp was the theme and camo outfits, physical challenges and clue deciphering was the order of the day as people got muddy and wet for a good cause.
The funds raised by the event will go to localcharities.
In the first leg of the challenge, participants found themselves at Crocodile Creek where they slipped and slid down a steep bush trail.
Their next clues led them to Pick ‘n Pay where they bought food supplies and took them to KwaMama to donate to hungry mouths.
What followed was tire dragging along Sheffield beach, air-rifle shooting at Seaton Delaval, a swim across Karibu dam and an ensuing obstacle course.
Twenty teams took part and around R12 000 raised for charity, according to Lions PR officer Ray Kayte.
