Dolphin and SAPS Striders make a mad dash for the thin blue line

The 10km event also marked a first for a number of novice runners taking on their first 10km challenge after completing the clubs popular Jump Start program.

A record field of Dolphin Striders took on the 2019 SAPS Striders Heritage Challenge on Sunday.

The annual event, hosted by SAPS Striders is well supported by the local running community and offers two distance options of 10km and 21km for runners and walkers alike.

The 10km event also marked a first for a number of novice runners taking on their first 10km challenge after completing the club’s popular Jump Start program.

The eleven-week beginners programme launched by Dolphin Coast Striders is aimed at someone that is new to running or starting out again and looking for a running goal.
