Meaning "we are one", Simunye will launch on November 5 and run until January 31 next year.

Artworks including themes of unity, interconnectedness and diverse perspectives will all lead The Gallery’s final exhibition for 2026, ‘Simunye’.

Meaning “we are one”, Simunye will launch on November 5 and run until January 31 next year. Gallery curator Sarah O’Reilly said she hopes the exhibition will allow guests to pause during the bustle of the festive season and reconnect with what matters most.

“For me, Simunye speaks to something I believe deeply about art and the role of The Gallery,” said O’Reilly.

“At a time when it can be so easy to focus on what separates us, I hope this exhibition reminds us of the importance of truly seeing one another, of showing up for our communities, and of remembering that we are all part of something bigger than ourselves.”
