Enforce Security is pro-active and fighting back

Armed response plays an important role, but is not the solution to crime alone

With the increase of crime in the Ballito residential and business sectors, Enforce has made a decision to be pro-active and invest back into the community through the deployment of its private investigations unit.

This unit will carry out “old school” sleuth work to infiltrate possible syndicates operating in the area to promote arrests and convictions. Alarm systems and armed response alone will not protect us from home or business invasions.

Anthony Feuilherade, business development director at Enforce stated “armed response plays an important role, but is not the solution to crime alone”.

If it was, crime would already be eradicated, especially with the growing number of private security vehicles patrolling Ballito. Instead, community crime fighting is about having an integrated solution in which skilled private investigators have their place.

“The most effective way to stop the criminals from executing planned crime sprees is to take them off the streets” says Nico Potgieter, head of investigations at Enforce.

“We have an excellent working relationship with local, provincial and national level SAPS officers, use seasoned ex-SAP specialists, and have a well-established informer network throughout KZN.”
Stakeholders need to pull together and collaborate to help break the syndicates operating in Ballito and reduce crime.

As such, Enforce invites all from the Ballito business and residential sectors to attend a meeting where their initiative will be explained by their head of investigations and where all will have an opportunity to raise security issues within the streets you live.

This informative and information gathering exercise will be an important step in building the intelligence needed to make this a successful initiative, so do not miss the meeting on March 27 as this is your neighborhood and being proactive is all our responsibility.

The meeting will be held at the Dolphin Coast Striders running clubhouse at 6pm.
