Protection from the outside in
Security measures should boast a layered approach, with the first line being outside your property walls

Most people start with their alarm as they think this is the most important element in the defence of their family.
However, according to Marshall Security, it’s just one part of what should be a layered approach to security.
The first line is found outside your property walls.
An intruder should have to bypass our street patrol guard and numerous vehicle patrols in the area, before scaling your wall, traversing your garden beams and finally meeting your front door and alarm system.
This sort of layered scenario greatly reduces the chance of a successful break in.

Community guarding / street patrol
Community or Street Patrol guards are the first line of defence.
Equipped with a direct line to our control room, they are a proven deterrent in the fight against crime in the area.
They can also be called upon to meet you at your gate if you are coming home and are feeling unsafe and they will ensure you get into your premises safe and sound.
Dedicated vehicle patrols
Dedicated vehicle patrols are put in place to ensure a visible presence on the streets in the communities we serve.
We find this an excellent deterrent for would-be perpetrators. It also means we are already on the road ‘In Case of Anything’ and can respond to your emergency that much quicker.
Technical support / installations
As one of the only private security providers in the area with full SAIDSA accreditation, our Technical Support team are responsible for all elements of your ‘at home’ or ‘at work’ electronic security.
That includes the installation and servicing of the following: CCTV, Alarm Systems, Cameras, Electric Fencing, Access Control, Gate Automation and your other safety and security needs.
Their job is to ensure you have the best advice and best products at your disposal for the best possible protection.

Alarm monitoring
Our emergency contact centre is active 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are always watching and always ready in case of anything.
Emergency calls and panic signals are routed directly through to emergency contact centre which is our central operation facility. This is where all vehicles are dispatched from immediately upon receiving your distress signal.
This reduces the reaction time and makes us better and faster, with your safety our priority.
Good to know: By the time we call you in response to an alarm activation, a reaction team has already been dispatched to you.
If it’s a false alarm, we call them back, but otherwise you can expect them at your premises within minutes.
If it’s a panic signal we dispatch our armed response officers immediately, without calling, as a call in a panic situation could jeopardise the safety of you or a loved one.
Armed response
Our response officers are highly trained and professional.
They are fully certified, and able to respond and react in case of anything.
Our vehicles are all fitted with Computer Aided Dispatch technology, which sends our reaction officers (via GPS) on the fastest route possible to your location.
Our team will gain access to your premises and will investigate the property, ensuring that nothing suspicious has taken place.
They will canvas the inside of your house as well, if required and permitted. In the event of finding a suspect on your property they are trained to apprehend him/her.
Their priority is to keep you safe; the safety of your property and possessions falls in line after that.
