Don’t know what to do with the kids for the school holidays?

Rain Farm will be hosting a Bush and Adventure activities camp for kids this July holiday!

Back by popular demand for the sanity of parents this holiday is the Rain Farm Bush and Adventure camp!

As a parent, it becomes an automatic cause for concern when thinking about what to do with the kids during the holidays.

Rain Farm is offering parents an easy and enjoyable solution to their problem. A holiday camp.

The camp will kick-off on Monday, 9 July and runs up until Thursday, 12 July from 7.15am till 4pm.

Rain Farm Game and Lodge is a beautiful game lodge a mere 15 minutes from Ballito.

With the holiday’s main focus being on giving kids a break from school as well as having fun, Rain Farm has strategically planned their itinerary for kids aged between 5 and 12 years old.

With an early start it allows parents the ability to work their normal hours and takes all the hassle out of having to find baby sitters and lift clubs to and from the camp.

Rain Farm only asks parents to supply their kids lunch, snacks and juice as well as an extra set of clothes, because they can’t promise the kids will go home clean!

Important: No children will be able to join in without a hat and sunscreen, as they will be outdoors most of the day.

Their daily itinerary:

  • Game Drives
  • Educational trail walks
  • Getting in touch with nature
  • Survival skills
  • Bug & treasure hunts
  • Outdoor fitness fun
  • Art & crafts
  • Fun with food

There are also facilities available for the kids to enjoy while they have their lunch or break time, including a jungle gym, putt putt course and jumping castles.

Now to get to the serious part, the cost per child per day is shown below, but should you have a troop it would benefit you (and them) as discount rates apply.

Parents are welcome to stay for the day and relax.

The restaurant will be open for parents to book breakfast/lunch to have the afternoon off and just enjoy the quiet setting of the beautiful lodge.

Terms and conditions:

  • No swimming for safety reasons.
  • No electronic devices as Rain Farm cannot be held liable should a giraffe step on your phone or tablet.
  • No toys from home. The kids are there to be outside and enjoy the activities set up for them.
