A decade worth celebrating for Destiny Life Academy

Having been set in motion by our Heavenly Father through the vision imparted to our founders, Peter and Ilana Markgraaff, our first 10 years has been nothing short of a pioneering adventure.

Ten years later, Destiny Life Academy‘s focus remains on embracing the “treasures” that God calls to the DLA family.

We do so in a manner that recognises them for who God says that they are and by providing a loving, nurturing environment that encourages their innate gifts to flourish.

“Destined for Greatness” is not just what we say to encourage our students, it is something we firmly believe about every child whom we are honoured to welcome into the DLA family.

With this in mind, I can only look back on our first decade with a heart of deep gratitude to thank God for all He has done in the lives of our students under the supervision of an incredible team of teachers.

We celebrate a decade of: investing into this generation of young South Africans who chose to make DLA their home; a 100 percent pass rate on the NSC Exam since our first matric class wrote in 2015; the successful completion of tertiary education pursuits within and outside the borders of our beautiful South Africa; and a continuum of successful attempts at national and international pursuits by the young people in the DLA family on both the academic and recreational front.

We are excited to advance into our next decade.
