Deck up your house, business or whatever you like with Ballito Eco Decking
One of the latest branch-offs of the eight year old company Superior Building, Ballito Eco Decking first started laying decks in 2018 when owner Schalk Brits realised the huge demand for quality decking on the North Coast.

Let’s face it, there’s nothing worse than falling backward while trying to sit down on a chair in the garden all because the rain softened the ground to the extent that the chair’s legs sunk into the ground.
These things happen, but why should it keep happening?
Luckily, it doesn’t have to and although the solution does involve spending some of that money you’ve been saving up, you’ll find that the pleasure gained from having a deck installed on your property by local experts, Ballito Eco Decking, will be well worth it.
One of the latest branch-offs of the eight year old company Superior Building, Ballito Eco Decking first started laying decks in 2018 when owner Schalk Brits realised the huge demand for quality decking on the North Coast.

Not only is the quality of the decks installed of such a high standard, but maintenance is kept to a minimum thanks to the quality of the material.
To date, Ballito Eco Decking has worked on projects in some of the North Coast’s most luxurious estates, including Zimbali, Palm Lakes and Simbithi.
Last year, the company split up into a 50/50 partnership between Schalk and new business partner, Albertus Swanepoel, both of whom have said that the composite decking indusstry is booming and that they are excited to mention that they also install cladding, railings and a variety of indoor flooring options and structures.
Some of the products on offer at Ballito Eco Decking come with guarantees from 10 to 25 years.
“We pride ourselves on the extreme quality and only use the best products available. With our service orientated approach and our long-lasting, low maintenance products, we’ve future-proofed a lot of the options we have available for our clients with some of the products even allowing for future expansion and additions,” said Schalk.
Hilariously, the duo shared some of the most interesting experiences they’ve had since branching out into the decking industry.
A potential client requested a quote for a job and decided that he would attempt it himself, and, as Schalk later found out, the cheap labour used by the soon-to-be client saw the client put back some R1-million.
A total of three months down the line, not only had the person lost R1-million but, the workers had not even finished with the foundation of the project, something Schalk says he and his team would have been able to complete must faster.
Although the project had to be restarted from scratch when Ballito Eco Decking took over, the owner of the property commented at the time that he should have taken the company up on their offer instead of wasting his time with inexperienced workers.
On average, projects Ballito Eco Decking take on are completed within two weeks, some as soon as six days.
