Salt Rock Veterinary Clinic is animal care with a human touch!

A move back to Ballito to be near her family and an opening at Salt Rock Veterinary Clinic proved to be the perfect opportunity.

If you are looking for veterinary care with a human touch, look no further than the Salt Rock Veterinary Clinic.

Dr Roxanne Buckle took over the clinic in December and brings renewed enthusiasm and quality care to the North Coast.

A Ballito resident, Buckle is living out her lifelong dream following graduation from the Onderstepoort Veterinary Institute in Pretoria.

“There has never been a doubt in my mind as to what I wanted to do and to be able to live out my dream everyday is incredible,” she said.

Salt Rock Vet’s Dr. Roxanne Buckle is excited to be back on the North Coast living out her dream.

After graduating in 2018, Buckle spent two years working at a clinic in Johannesburg and sought the opportunity for her own practice.

A move back to Ballito to be near her family and an opening at Salt Rock Veterinary Clinic proved to be the perfect opportunity.

“It has been such a pleasure dealing with this fantastic community. Pets are very well looked after and it shows when they are brought in to us.”

Buckle welcomes pets of all shapes and sizes through the doors of her clinic and into her home as well.

“I got my dog Hugo – a French Bulldog and Boston Terrier cross – as a gift and immediately fell in love. I have since added Gimli, a 5kg continental giant rabbit to the mix.”

Hugo and Gimli may look slightly different, but they have become the best of friends since Gimli was added to the family.

The clinic offers general pet care, as well as a parlour and a myriad of pet treats and toys.

The franchise and parlour are open Monday to Friday from 8am – 5.30pm, while the clinic is open from 8.30am – 10.30am and 3pm – 5pm on the same days and on Saturday from 9am -11am.

To book a consult contact the clinic at 032 525 4467 or visit the website at saltrockvet.co.za.
