Come to Curro Mount Richmore’s School Expo!
That's right mom and dad, you get to see it all right from how Curro Castle's little ones learn to explore up to how learners are prepared for matric.
Top Dolphin Coast private school Curro Mount Richmore are opening their doors this weekend for interested parents and learners to explore.
That’s right mom and dad, you get to see it all. Right from how Curro Castle’s little ones learn to explore up to how learners are prepared for matric.
As always, children first.
With this in mind Curro Castle’s Expo kicks off with a fun day at 8.30am, giving parents insight into how the school promotes opportunities for children to learn, explore and be entertained.
All parents will make their way to the school’s hall where Curro Mount Richmore executive head, Mr Bryn Thomas will be waiting eagerly to meet you.
The meet and greet will be followed by a talk hosted by the author of Rocking Mama’s Wisdom, Georgina Thornell at 9am. During her talk children get to have fun in the kids’ entertainment area where activities have been prepared for all ages.
This will be followed by a Castle favourite – the Tumbling Tigers interactive obstacle course.

Both children and parents will be able to enjoy the activity together from 10am.
And just when you thought the variety of activities couldn’t get any more interesting, parents and children are set to be spoilt with a reptile show by Ndlondlo Reptile Park.
Parents to older children from Grades R to 12 will be given a tour of the school during the same time, while the sport-inclined get ready to test their swing with golf coach, Mr Robert Schalkwyk on the school’s sport field, also at 10am.
Prizes are up for grabs here, so definitely don’t swing past this one.
Parents and children will get to take a closer look at the science lab while learning about the school’s offerings.
A number of teachers will also be meeting with parents before lab coats are donned at 10.30am during which science teacher, Mr Enslin shows off some mad-scientist-like skills.
Now off to robotics – yes, the future is here and it is on our doorstep! Both parents and children will be able to see exactly how to programme a robot, test their Minecraft skills and see up-close how a 3D printer works, all followed by a step into a world of virtual reality.

Children will be able to enjoy a music power hour with Music Box’s Kim while parents look on as their children take part in an interactive music lesson from 11am.
The clock now strikes midday, and the artist in you is called out to check out the school’s art studio where an art class is planned.
And yes, you’ll be able to take your creation home with you afterwards.
The expo is set to end off strong with a game of touch rugby hosted by the Curro Dads, starting at midday with the Curro Moms Who Care who will have boerewors rolls on sale.
