Located at lot 3580, Nandi Mthembu Drive, Powertrans Bosch Ballito’s specialists strip, clean and refurbish entire fuel injection systems both petrol and diesel.
Starting off with a mere three employees, Powertrans has over the past two decades grown into a leading re-manufacturer of heavy earthmoving equipment, diesel engines and transmission in South Africa, and has since invested in its own Bosch diagnostic and fuel injection facility.
Under the umbrella of Powertrans, Powertrans Bosch Ballito – now two years old – is manned by a staff complement of 17 personnel equipped with the skills and knowledge to ensure professional service to the automotive industry.
The diesel service centre’s specialists service all petrol and diesel passenger cars which includes a diagnostic scan that pinpoints any underlying problems.
They also replace engine oil, air and oil filters, adjust handbrake and conduct extensive safety checks to ensure the excellent running of customers’ vehicles.
With advanced facilities manned by highly-trained and efficient technicians, Powertrans Bosch Ballito takes great pride in breathing life back into fuel injection systems, engines, transmissions and all other automotive components.
The centre also offers services such as servicing and fleeting and undertakes automotive engineering which is done inhouse.

Pumps and injectors are then fully rebuilt and calibrated according to original equipment manufacturer specifications and further subjected to tests which ensure optimum performance.
Powertrans also carries out DPF and CAT converter reconditioning using the most up-to-date technology.
“Our latest diagnostic technology is able to pinpoint exactly what’s wrong with your car, so we can fix it quickly and efficiently,” said branch manager, Levan Pillay.
