Based at Umhlali Country Club, Ballito, the school grades start from Grade 7 to matric,
Their mission is to provide a platform for golf-enthused pupils to obtain world-class, holistic instruction in high-performance golf and revolutionary IEB school education.
To achieve this, McKenna has partnered with Evolve, an online ADvTech school, which takes pupils on a journey of personal mastery using trend-setting curriculum mapping systems developed by MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) to offer your golf-loving child the best of both worlds.
This highly advanced curriculum mapping system enables your children to join the Evolve school at any point in their high school careers without them missing a beat in their education when joining McKenna Academies.
With the aim of supporting pupils and developing them in all aspects of life, McKenna Academies Learning Lab provides a holistic and inclusive education in both schooling and golf.
What makes them unique is the flexibility created in each pupils’ individualised education and golf careers to enable pupils to fully engage in all aspects of the performance academy.
With this flexibility, pupils are able to take part in the many service offerings of the Academy; daily golf coaching, regular golf psychology sessions as well as daily golf specific, strength and fitness training whilst attending full school classes throughout the day.
This enables pupils to compete in golf tournaments across the country without impacting their school education at the Learning Lab
The pupils of McKenna Academies will be coached by Class AAA PGA professional, Emile Steinmann, who cannot wait to develop your children into world class golf tour champions.
