Sorbet Ballito, where excellence is the standard

The Ballito franchise, the standout among more than 200 Sorbet stores nationwide, has been nominated as the Best Beauty Salon in The North Coast Courier's Best of Ballito Readers' Choice Awards.

There may be more than 200 Sorbet stores around the country, but one stands out from the rest and has been nominated as the Best Beauty Salon in The North Coast Courier’s Best of Ballito Readers’ Choice Awards.

Excellence is what drives Estelle Elliott, an independent owner of the franchise brand, to succeed.

With an approach that guests are family who deserve to be treated like royalty, the business is rapidly growing.

“From the moment a guest walks in at Sorbet Ballito, they are treated as if they are the only person on the planet who matters,” said Estelle.

“There’s a reason we’ve been the top-ranked Sorbet franchise in the province for the past two years,” she says, highlighting that she ensures her staff are always up-to-date on the latest and best practices when it comes to beauty and nail therapy.

“This is what I love about Sorbet as a brand, how it strives to always empower and uplift its citizens.”
Continuous training is offered to staff to ensure they stay on top of their game. No nail technician or beauty therapist is hired without being internationally accredited and qualified.

“Our success can really only be attributed to how we always build relationships with our guests. They are sacred to us from the moment they walk into the store. We derive satisfaction from meeting their needs,” said Estelle.

Sorbet Ballito has also seen a 43% rise in business since relocating to a larger space at the Ballito Junction last year.

Sorbet Ballito not only offers everything from manicures, pedicures, skincare to body massages, but also emphasises giving back to the community through a variety of upliftment initiatives.

The store boasts a 25-strong female-led team.
