Positivity and excellence rule at Reddam House Ballito
Reddam House Ballito is a finalist in the Best of Ballito competition.
Entering the Early Learning School and main school building of Reddam House Ballito, the atmosphere of warmth and positivity is tangible.
Happy students and passionate staff interact to build a robust academic base, enhanced by a growing extramural offering.
Activities such as the recent college exchange to France, an upcoming preparatory hockey tour to the Eastern Cape and first team soccer tournament in Cape Town later this year, allow students to experience the camaraderie that comes with being part of uplifting excursions.
Culturally, Reddam students’ creative talent in music and dance came to the fore during the production of Gaga showcased in term 1, Antigone (a Greek tragedy) performed in the school’s theatre this week and the JP production of Humpty Dumpty early next term.
The Early Learning School enhances the development of the pre-school students with interactive events, and parents are offered the opportunity to experience these too.
The music and maths weeks and an art exhibition of students’ work show the school’s child-focused philosophy in action.
The Grade 1 parent information evening for 2025 will be held on May 16 at 4pm.

The growth of the school, with more than 800 students this year, means that planning is well underway for the building of the Preparatory School.
This additional building, the learn-to-swim pool and new field will allow the school to accommodate the increasing student numbers.
