Reddam House Ballito shines with academic and cultural excellence
Innovative learning and top matric results position school as a leader in education.
Since its opening in 2019, Reddam House Ballito has swiftly become a leader in education on the North Coast.
Blending technology, creativity, and cultural enrichment, the school prepares students with the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.

At the heart of its approach is a future-focused curriculum that includes virtual reality, coding and robotics, and information technology, sharpening problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Digital and graphic design further enhance students’ visual communication abilities, while French provides a competitive edge in global communication.

Beyond academics, the school embraces cultural enrichment. Students engage in music, drama and visual arts, with dance offered as a matric subject. The largest theatre in Ballito, located on campus, allows learners to gain confidence through professional-level performances.
Reddam House Ballito’s journey of nurturing young minds begins in its Early Learning School, where the internationally acclaimed Reggio Emilia philosophy is integrated into daily practice. This approach emphasises child-centred, inquiry-based learning.

Through hands-on activities, collaborative projects and careful observation of each child’s interests, children develop problem-solving and communication skills in a supportive environment.
This foundational phase not only prepares pupils for primary school and beyond, it also instils a spirit of curiosity and resilience.

The 2024 matric results reinforce the school’s reputation for academic excellence. Reddam House Ballito ranked second in KZN and tenth nationally among co-ed schools. The class achieved an average of 76% per student, three distinctions each and a 100% Bachelor’s Degree pass rate.
Aaminah Vally was the top pupil, securing eight distinctions, including 96% in Mathematics. Dhiya Singh earned seven distinctions with a 90% average, while Abban Khan scored 97% in Mathematics. Kaity Trembath finished in the top 1% nationally for mathematical literacy.

As part of the Inspired group, a network of 118 schools across 24 countries, Reddam House Ballito offers students international collaboration, global exchanges and world-class resources. This ensures that learners receive an education that is both locally grounded and globally relevant, preparing them for success in an interconnected world.
