#BestofBallito: Flexible event destination launches at Burnedale Farm

The new Burnedale Barn has the added advantage of incredible vendors on site.

A dreamy venue set within a working family farm, Burnedale Barn is the North Coast’s newest and most unique all-in-one event destination.

Set in Umhlali on Burnedale Farm, the Burnedale Barn is easily accessible yet tucked away and private – offering the best of both worlds. Burnedale Barn offers versatile venue options depending on the size and style of your wedding or event, all in a beautiful, central location.

The team at Burnedale have created the Barn to be as flexible as possible, which means there are endless opportunities to host weddings, birthdays, kitchen teas, conferences, corporate functions, workshops and more.

The Barn offers a wide range of event hosting options.

Clients are able to bring in their own catering and décor, giving you the ability to extend your creativity and budget according to your individual needs. Alternatively, clients are able to choose catering or décor from the three eateries as well as décor options onsite at Burnedale Farm.

With ample parking, security and back-up power, Burnedale Barn ensures everything runs smoothly, so you can focus on celebrating.

Very few people are aware of the rich history of Burnedale Farm dating back to 1841. To this day the Farm is family owned and run, and you can certainly feel the beautiful energy that brings to the Burnedale Centre.

Burnedale Farm Centre currently has 22 stores and services, including three eateries. There is a wonderful blend of long-standing tenants as well as some fresh new faces which bring a combined energy to the farm. Together with the four Burnedale tenants placing in the top 3 of their respective categories in the Best of Ballito 2025, there certainly is something special unfolding at Burnedale Farm.
