#BestofBallito: Cycle Lab voted the best in first year of operation

The bicycle store offers world-class products as well as services and repairs.

In just a year since opening its doors at Ballito Junction, Cycle Lab Ballito has already become a household name.

This was evidenced by its win in the Best Bicycle Store category of this year’s North Coast Courier Best of Ballito Readers’ Choice Awards.

Now in its fourth year, the Ballito edition has grown to over 2 500 business nominations across 252 categories. More than just a competition, it has become a trusted platform where the community honours top local businesses for outstanding service and quality.

Store manager Willem Lindeque said he was thrilled with such early recognition.

“Firstly, we would like to thank everyone who voted for us in this year’s competition,” he said.

“We are honoured to have walked away with this award as the new kids on the block in Ballito. This is a great way to celebrate our one-year anniversary in the community.”

Cycle Lab offers bike services and repairs, as well as world-class products for everyone, from beginner to expert cyclists. You can find most major brands in-store, along with friendly, knowledgeable staff who will do their best to assist you wherever possible.

“For those who are still unfamiliar with us and what we do, I invite you to come and visit us,” said Lindeque.

“Look out for us as we continue to be a part of and grow within this community.”

You can find Cycle Lab Ballito at the piazza area on Level 6 at Ballito Junction, next door to the Pro Shop. Find out more at cyclelab.com.
