Ocean Basket opens at Tiffany’s Centre
The new restaurant introduces a fresh concept inspired by modern Greek design, creating a contemporary and welcoming atmosphere.
Seafood lovers have a new dining destination on the North Coast following the opening of Ocean Basket’s newest restaurant at Tiffany’s Centre in Salt Rock on July 7.
The restaurant is the 13th Ocean Basket branch owned by the Saxony Group and is regarded as one of its flagship stores. The owners spent the past two years searching for the ideal location.

The new restaurant introduces a fresh concept inspired by modern Greek design, creating a contemporary and welcoming atmosphere.
While the restaurant awaits its liquor licence, diners are invited to bring their own wine or other alcoholic beverages at no corkage charge.

Designed as more than just a place to eat, the restaurant aims to offer an experience where families and friends can relax and spend time together. A dedicated children’s play area is expected to keep younger guests entertained, while sports fans can catch major fixtures, including Springbok matches and the FIFA World Cup, on the restaurant’s big screen.
The team also plans to introduce themed Greek evenings in the future, complete with the lively plate-breaking tradition for which Greek celebrations are famous.

Although takeaway meals are available, the focus is on creating an enjoyable sit-down dining experience centred around Ocean Basket’s signature seafood platters, sushi and Mediterranean-inspired dishes.
To celebrate the opening, the restaurant has introduced a range of launch specials, including attractively priced sushi deals that are expected to be a favourite with local diners.
Whether you’re planning a family meal, catching up with friends or looking for somewhere to watch the big game, the new Ocean Basket at Tiffany’s Centre is ready to welcome you.
