An Umdloti resident made a grim discovery of a body in a pool of blood on Margaret Bacon Avenue, Umdloti this morning at about 9am.
The unknown resident phoned the Reaction Unit South Africa and they arrived to find the body of a woman on the driveway, outside the gate of a property.
Initially Reaction Unit SA could not determine the deceased’s age due to the injuries to her head and face, however SAPS have confirmed that she is 35 years old.
She did not have a cellphone or any form of identification on her.
It is believed she had been attending a party on Friday night next door to the property where her body was found.
This is still to be confirmed by a police investigation.
