Thirteen people were arrested for public violence after two KwaDukuza SAPS vehicles were stoned during a protest in Doringkop last night.
According to KwaDukuza police spokesperson, Constable Sibusiso Khuzwayo, the residents fall under ward one of Ndwedwe municipality and they are demanding that the demarcation board move them to fall under either the KwaDukuza or Maphumulo municipalities.

“While we were escorting a tractor used to clean up the road that was blocked with burning tyres, tree branches and stones, a crowd of about 150 to 200 people started throwing stones at us.
