Man shot and killed in Tongaat, two injured in the crossfire

The man was walking in the street when an unknown gunman opened fire.

A man believed to be the owner of a barber shop was shot and killed in Tongaat this afternoon.

The man was shot on Arbee Drive and two other people were caught in the crossfire.

Tongaat police commander, colonel Santha Moodley said several shots were fired and the motive was unknown.

“The injured people were taken to the clinic,” said colonel Moodley.

Dylan Meyrick, of IPSS Medical Rescue, said the man died at the scene of the shooting.
