KwaZulu-Natal’s most wanted robbers nabbed, may be linked to North Coast robberies
The men are accused of being involved in a Pietermaritzburg robbery dating back to April 5 however, they may also be linked to various robberies committed in KwaDukuza, Tongaat, Mandeni, Port Shepstone, Pinetown and Umzinto.
Three of the province’s most wanted criminals were arrested in the Bhambayi area of Inanda on Monday evening following a joint operation by the Durban Flying Squad and Provincial Organised Crime Unit. The joint team were searching for suspects wanted in connection to a string of business robberies.
Police had also seized clothing and cell phones which had been stolen during the robberies.

KwaZulu-Natal provincial commissioner, Lieutenant-General Khombinkosi Jula commended the officers for the arrests. The men – aged between 22 and 30 – were identified as three of the province’s most wanted armed robbers.
