KwaDukuza pupil (8) allegedly kidnapped while waiting for her ride home

Police confirmed that a case of kidnapping has been registered for investigation at the KwaDukuza Saps.

The parents of eight-year-old Amahle Mthimkhulu are frantically searching for their missing daughter, who was allegedly kidnapped from outside her primary school in KwaDukuza town yesterday afternoon.

The Dawnview Primary School pupil was reportedly waiting for her afternoon transport to collect and take her home when she was allegedly abducted by an unknown woman.

Provincial Saps communications officer Colonel Thembeka Mbele confirmed that a case of kidnapping had been registered for investigation at the KwaDukuza Saps.

“It is alleged that on October 23 at 3.47pm, an eight-year-old girl was with other children in King Shaka Street in KwaDukuza when she was kidnapped by an unknown woman,” said Colonel Mbele.
