Two alleged carjackers arrested at Tongaat bus rank

The men will soon appear at the Verulam magistrate court.

Two men who were wanted for a case of carjacking was arrested at the Tongaat bus rank today.

The two were arrested after they were identified by a man they allegedly robbed in Inanda last month.

“It is alleged that they robbed a 35-year-old man of his car at gunpoint while he was in Inanda in October.

“They were detained at police cells and are expected to appear before the Verulam magistrate court,” said Tongaat police spokesperson captain Patrick Ngwane.
