Cash-in-transit robbed, door blown off, near Tugela
Three guards inside the truck escaped with minor injuries.
An undisclosed amount of cash was taken by thieves when a cash-in-transit van was robbed on the R66 road between Dokodweni and Gingindlovu this evening.
Explosives were used to get into the vehicle.
The three guards inside the truck escaped with minor injuries, said paramedics.

“The guards are lucky to have escaped with their lives,” said IPSS Medical Rescue spokesperson Paul Herbst.
