Taxi boss’ wife shot and killed at Tongaat
Armed assailants opened fire on the woman's car near her home.
A woman believed to have been the wife of a deceased taxi boss was shot and killed in her car this afternoon.
Armed assailants reportedly opened fire on the female driver’s vehicle near her home in Hambanathi, Tongaat.
The car rolled after colliding with a pole.
The scene of the shooting was reportedly littered with cartridges, numerous bullets having lodged into the vehicle.
The police had not responded to requests for comment at the time of publication.
