Seatides father on the run after wife finds him allegedly raping daughter (5)
The mother woke up to find her husband raping their daughter after he returned home drunk on Sunday evening.
A Seatides (Tongaat) father is reportedly on the run from authorities after allegedly being caught red-handed raping his daughter.
Reaction Unit South Africa spokesperson, Prem Balram, said the man’s wife was asleep with their children when he allegedly returned home drunk to their Thuthukani Informal Settlement home.
“She woke up and discovered her husband raping their daughter. She forced him off the child and he assaulted her,” Balram said.
The husband then fled the property.
Tongaat Saps station commander, Lieutenant-Colonel Santha Moodley, confirmed the incident, adding that investigations were underway.
Moodley said Saps was not in a position to comment on the matter.
