Two gunned down in Tongaat drive-by shooting

Police have opened two cases of murder.

A man and a teenage boy were shot dead in a drive-by shooting in Magwaveni, Tongaat, on Tuesday morning.

Police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda said the victims were installing a radio system when two men in a white vehicle opened fire.

The 33-year-old man was struck multiple times in the head, neck, face and chest and died at the scene. The 14-year-old boy was rushed to hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
