Woman shot dead at KwaDukuza N2 off-ramp, daughter survives

Motorists are urged to avoid the area while the scene is cleared.

A woman was found dead in her car with multiple gunshot wounds at the KwaDukuza N2 northbound off-ramp this evening.

The victim is believed to be in her late 50s.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting, which happened at about 6.10pm, remain unclear.

IPSS Medical Rescue spokesperson Kelsey-Jae Meyrick confirmed the woman was found in the driver’s seat. Her adult daughter, who was in the passenger seat, survived the attack with minor injuries.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area while emergency services and police remain on the scene.
