Play ball and learn

Zimbali Rotary kits out the RA Padayachee Primary's soccer team.

Boredom among teenagers is what many believe leads to unhealthy lifestyle choices.
To combat this the Rotary Club of Zimbali started a project to add excitement and exercise to the lives of the pupils at the RA Padayachee Primary School in Shakashead.
Using the donation of a football kit from the Zimbali Rotary Club a group of pupils formed a school soccer team and are now spending their Saturdays, playing in league matches.
Scalby Juniors is an under 12 Soccer team from Scarborough in the UK which recently bought new kit.
They then sent a set of their unused kit for the Rotary Club of Zimbali to donate to a disadvantaged local school.
The kit was brought over from the UK by Peter and Hazel Dobbs on a visit to Zimbali.
