Donate toys and smiles this Christmas
The Orphan Fund supports more than 1,000 orphaned and vulnerable children.
Donate new or gently used toys and non-perishable grocery items to the North Coast Courier Orphan Fund this Christmas and bring a smile to a child’s heart.
The Orphan Fund supports more than 1,000 orphaned and vulnerable children, both directly and through supporting the work done by local NGOs.
“For most of these children Christmas is not a happy time, there is no Christmas dinner nor are there presents under the tree,” said Courier Orphan Secretary Rose Stephenson.
“Many of the NGO’s and churches we work with hold Christmas parties for the orphans and they appreciate all the help they can get in bringing true Christmas cheer to these children. Gently worn second-hand clothing for children is also appreciated.
Collection boxes will be at local supermarkets, the Courier office in Ballito and at the Lockeroom gym.
