Symphonic Christmas concert

The proceeds from the concert will go to the North Coast Courier Orphan Fund.

The Durban Symphonic Choir, together with The Dolphin Coast Singers, will delight and enchant you with jolly Christmas spirit at the annual North Coast Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 8.
The proceeds from the concert, entitled Christmas in Ballito, to be held at the Ballito Dutch Reformed Church, will go to the North Coast Courier Orphan Fund.
Orphan Fund secretary Rose Stephenson said the annual Christmas Concert, besides being a must do in many music lovers’ diaries, has become an extremely worthwhile fund raising event.
“The choirs consistently give a wonderful concert of popular Christmas songs and the audience is so appreciative and very generous every year. The money raised helps to feed, clothe and transport to school the more than 1 000 orphaned and vulnerable children supported by the fund.”
She said during December, when schools are out, the needs of many children are even greater as there is no school feeding scheme to rely on for their midday meal.
Tickets are only R60 and the show begins at 3pm.  Buy your tickets at 3@1 at the Ballito Junction, at Postnet at the Lifestyle Centre and at the North Coast Courier offices, 032-9460276.

Tickets will also be available at the door.
