Crimes attended to by Umhlali SAPS last weekend:
∙ While fishing, a man’s car was broken into on Salt Rock Lane on Sunday morning.
∙ A 13-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a man near Maguyana Primary school in Driefontein on Sunday
∙ A flat in Beach Combers was broken into on Saturday night.
∙ Break-in at a house in Rietvallei in Shakaskraal on Friday night.
∙ Mad Hatters in Douglas Crowe Drive in Ballito were burgled on Saturday night and computer equipment was stolen.
∙ Computers were stolen from a business on Sandra Road between January 1 and 3.
∙ Twenty-one people were arrested for drinking and driving, seven for drinking in public, three for possession of marijuana, one for road traffic violations, one for disturbing the peace and one person was arrested for selling liquor without a license.
