Young croc making a comeback

After his perilous journey, Willard's still alive and kicking.

Little Willard, the crocodile who was discovered in surfing the waves at Willard beach on Saturday, December 4, is showing renewed spirit.

Crocodile Creek founder Peter Watson said the baby crocodile was doing very well.

Having moved out of the bath tub where Watson made sure to disinfect him, Willard is enjoying his new home, which he currently shares with a legavaan named “Leggy”.

“He’s been running around in his new enclosure,” said Watson.

Although the young croc seems to have recovered from his  salty trauma, Watson says he is still refusing to eat.

“He has not eaten anything we have given him yet. But we hope he might be catching his own food in the enclosure,” said the crocodile farmer.
