Heritage theatre show features Ballito gal
Simone Mann shares the stage with renowned Durban caberet stars at the Heritage theatre.
Ballito local Simone Mann is part of the cast for the Heritage Theatre production of ‘The Stars are Out Tonight’, which is running until this Sunday.
The supper theatre show stars long time caberet performer Clinton Philander, and revolves around characters from various shows that he has played throughout his career.
Mann and Philander are joined on stage by Graeme Wicks, who has worked the Barnyard circuit, as well as featuring in various “Kickstart” productions, California based songstress, Angela Val Verde and Philander’s son, Josh, who, now 20, first appeared with his father at the ripe old age of four.
This high energy, table-banging crowd pleaser features songs from a myriad of genres, and showcases such artists as Liza Minelli, Robbie Williams, Tina Turner, The Beach Boys, Kenny Rogers, Bob Marley, Robin Thicke, Avici, Michael Buble’, Bette Midler, Kim Carnes, Chris De Burgh, Elton John and many more.
Tickets are R185 for Tuesday dinner and Sunday lunch and R215 Wednesday to Saturday including a two course meal.
