The Woolworths at the Ballito Lifestyle Centre has been closed for a complete revamp.

According to a statement by Lifestyle Centre management issued on Tuesday the store is due reopen by the end of June.

“We look forward to an amazing brand-new food market with a lot more of everything. It will definitely be worth the wait.”

The ownership of all three Woolworths stores on the North Coast was transferred back to Woolworths SA in January after a lengthy legal battle with previous franchise holder Dula Investments.

Earlier this month Woolworths SA announced that major repairs were required at their store at the Lifestyle Centre. The company had suspended sales of perishable foods at the branch until the problem could be resolved.
