South African aerobic gymnastic Dom Mann will compete at the Aerobic Gymnatics World Cup.

Ballito’s very own super star athelete, professional dancer and South African gymnast, Dominique Mann, has jetted off to compete in the Aerobic Gymnastics World Cup.

The FIG Aerobic World Cup is being held, for the first time, in Azores, Portugal from May 16 to 18.
Mann left for Portugal on Tuesday and will be there for a week.

She will be representing South Africa by competing in the mixed pairs sections of the competition with her partner Wilson Mafona on Saturday May 17.

Mann has won both the National and African Aerobic Gymnastics Championship titles as well as been awarded Kwazulu Natal’s Sportswoman of the year in 2007.

She will be looking to add to her recent success where she competed at the 12th African Gymnastics Championships in Walvis Bay in Namibia, snapping up one silver and three gold medals.

The World Champs will serve as Mann’s preparation ahead of the Aerobic World Championships which will be held in Cancun, Mexico from June 27 to 29.
