Winter is on its way and now is the time to contribute to the North Coast Courier Orphan Fund’s Soup, Socks and Snuggles campaign.
The annual campaign aims to collect tinned or packets soup, socks and warm winter clothing which will be distributed to vulnerable children on the North Coast.
Easy-to-spot collection boxes have been placed in and around Ballito, so when you are out grocery shopping do not forget to throw in some items when you leave.
BBS Mica has donated sturdy boxes and Zap Signs have sponsored the bright branding on the boxes, so you cannot miss them.
Collection points are at Lifestyle Superspar, Pick ‘n Pay at Ballito Junction, Checkers in Ballito Bay Mall, the Lockeroom Gym at The Circle and at Tiffany’s Shopping Centre in Salt Rock.
Several local schools have also joined the campaign.
