Are you the next Miss Ballito?

Entries close on May 31.

Every girl dreams of being a beauty queen…wearing that sash and having a sparkly crown placed on her forehead.

You could make your dreams come true by entering Miss Ballito 2015.

Entries for the annual pageant, hosted by Zimbali Rotary Club in partnership with this year’s platinum sponsors, the SMD Group, close on May 31.

The scope has been widened for local beauties with the entry age being lowered to 17 years old.

Sitting on the judging panel are Courier editor Bruce Stephenson, Enterprise Ilembe marketing manager Cheryl Peters, I Love Ballito jock Margeret ‘Mags’ Westerhof, Ballito Specialised Rescue Unit’s Quentin Power and celeb mom and wife Vanessa Marawa.

This year’s grand prize, sponsored by Emirates Holidays, is a trip to beautiful Dubai aboard Emirates Airlines and a three-night stay in a five-star hotel.

The event aims to increase awareness by supporting local charities.

This year’s beneficiaries include the North Coast Courier Orphan Fund, Summerhill House, Osizweni Primary School and RA Padayachee Primary School in Shakashead.

Entries are available online at www.missballito.coza, at Edgars Ballito and the Courier offices.

Every entry form must be completed with two photographs.
